The informative language and the richness of the iconographic apparatus accompany the visitor along a path of study dedicated to the various sections that make up the oldest university botanical garden in the world. Founded in 1545, the Botanical Garden of Padua has a characteristic square-shaped plant inscribed in the circle. Its ancient garden, the Garden of Biodiversity and the Botanical Museum opened in 2023 allow you to travel between 6,000 plants, crossing five centuries of history and five continents. Since 1997 it is part of the UNESCO heritage because "it is at the origin of all the botanical gardens of the world and represents the cradle of science, scientific exchanges and understanding of the relations between nature and culture"
