Following the same logic that ispired Palladio in Book II of his Quattro Libri dell'Architettura, in this book the editors have chosen to keep the written word to the essential minimum, thus leaving more room for over 250 photographs by Pino Guidolotti. The resultant "portrait" of Palladio's oeuvre features all sixty-six of his survingg buildings (or those tradiotinally considered autograph), including some less well-konwn works in an almost unprecedented systematic and completely survey.
